Edutainment

In partnership with local communities, SCREAM Edutainment is a three-pronged outreach programme that focus in providing skill-based training, capacity building and leadership development for youth at risk. The main method used by this program are cultivating music interest among youth at risk through meaningful activities, music mentoring, and skills training in music and singing. The programme includes mentor training sessions, guitar/ukulele focused music classes with distinctive modules, as well as mentoring and life coaching, before initiating a selection process and placing selected participants in reputable music academies. The first pilot project was conducted at Pusat Aktiviti Kanak-kanak Taman Putra Damai (Block E) in Lembah Subang. These kids are exposed to social problems like drug addiction, loitering, gangsterism and others. Our program provide safe space for youth to learn and practice music in weekends.
